This beautiful, professional grade sitar made of tun wood features a double toomba, 7 main and 13 sympathetic strings. Includes extra sets of strings, mizrabs (wire picks), case and more (see Details, below). Meticulously cared for; humidor maintained weekly.

- Double tumbas (second is removable)
- 18 strings (including 11 tarafs, or sympathetic strings)
- 20 heavy nickel-silver fully-moveable frets
- Four fine-tuning beads
- Elaborate hand-carved detailing
- Full size sitar: app. 48" long x 14" wide x 12" deep
- Dark, hand-polished, finish on tun (Indian Mahogany) wood
- Hand carved Indian Rosewood spiral pegs

- Wheeled chipboard case (app. 52" x 17" x 14")

Tanpura (Tamboura)
The tanpura (or tamboura) is a drone instrument used to accompany voice, sitar, or other Indian instruments.
Details:
- 4-string flat-backed "female" type
- Student model; not ornamented
- Fine tuning beads on all strings
- Complete with case, spare set of strings and mizrabs (wire picks)
- $200 (Special: will sell for $100 if purchased together with sitar)
